Great location in a cute little town. The “shared” element will not appeal to everyone, though.

Room was nice and the shared bathroom was tolerable because the 2nd floor had several vacancies.

A lack of bath mat, one soap bottle for the bathroom, lack of coat hooks and hangars in the room and in the shared bathroom

Location was amazing! Walking distance to inner Ribe, lots of historical buildings and small local shops around. Kind staff, and easy check out/check in process!

When we wanted to check in, it was difficult to get to the front desk because a luncheon party was placed at a long table right in front of the check in counter. We had to check in on the edge of the desk, which was a bit awkward. The young employee checking Us in was very kind though! Especially considering he struggled with the new booking system they had just gotten. Value for money doesn’t really even out, rather expensive, taken into account that kitchenette and bathroom was quite outdated and old. Being that we chose an apartment at ground level we kind of expected that the blinds weren’t going to be halfway see through. Bonus points for the handicap accessibility though. Inside the 1 Room apartment the sleeping areas were decorated nicely and the beds were great! One wall had lovely tapestry of Ribe Church and town which were stunning! The actual hotel building was decorated historically but overcrowded with dinner tables/chairs inside.

Ruime kamer, wel heel eenvoudig ingericht

De badkamer: er was GEEN WARM WATER om te douchen!!!!!! De afvoer van de douche was verstopt, de badkamer zou vol water staan als we niet zelf de overvolle vieze zeef uit de afvoer hadden verwijderd. Er was een dubbelboeking, dat heeft het personeel wel goed opgelost. Het teveel betaalde bedrag konden we in DKK terugkrijgen, maar dat was voor ons geen optie. Daarom hebben daar gegeten en de vegetarische schotel was lekker.
