The Positives: Location: The location is ideal—tucked away just outside the busy center of Georgetown, making it a peaceful and convenient spot. Dining: The breakfast buffet is very good, with plenty of quality options to start the day. Service: Every member of the staff was consistently friendly, polite, and welcoming. Accommodations: The rooms are immaculate, well-presented, and kept very clean throughout the stay.

Facilities: My only disappointment was finding out the swimming pool was out of order for repairs, with no prior mention or warning given before arrival.

A warm, comfortable and welcoming hotel with excellent staff — a great home base for our family stay in Guyana.

The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our 11-night stay. The hotel has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, the property is well maintained, and we really enjoyed the pool area and the excellent breakfast buffet. The location on the East Coast was also very convenient for us, and overall the service made it feel like a home away from home.

There was very little we disliked. Some of the rooms and amenities could benefit from modernization, and having a refrigerator as standard in every room would be a welcome improvement, especially for longer stays. Otherwise, our experience was very positive.

Rooms were hot, AC units could keep up. Staff was deplorable. Worst hotel staff I’ve ever seen for the level of hotel. Food took forever. I waited about 90 minutes for one meal and the average was about 50 minutes. Also you were constantly ignored. It was so bad.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. AC worked well. Hotel was responsive and accommodating about my flight delay and was able to arrange transportation from the airport for my late arrival.

The hotel is far from the main town. You need to drive there. If you don’t have a car, the hotel has drivers that can take you, but it’s $30 one way to drive approximately 15-20 minutes, which is absurd. They should look into offering shuttles into town for free or cheaper instead. Also, staff was not very friendly, either the exception of Cheryl, a male waiter whose name I’ve forgotten, and Roman. They didn’t offer to help with my suitcase when I arrived. This was fine as I was on the first floor, but a guy arrived just before me and they didn’t offer to help him take his luggage upstairs either. Everything was overpriced too, for what it was. There weren’t that many vegetarian options on the restaurant menu either. Would’ve liked to be able to try a vegetarian Guyanese curry.

The hotel rooms are nice but are let down by the loud and incessant 24/7 traffic noise.

The property is right next to a very busy road and all rooms that I have stayed in are very noisy all night and day with traffic noise. Some bar staff were great, others were rude and ignored us.
