What the guest liked

The hotel was in an excellent location, in the center, right next to metro station. Everything was very clean and fresh, and the room had everything for a comfortable stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!

What could be improved

It was not mentioned in advance that a €100 deposit would be required, but we were fine with that. However, the property refused to accept cash and insisted on card payment, so we paid by card. Unfortunately, we never received our deposit back, despite the property claiming that the refund had been processed. This was disappointing and frustrating, especially as we had trusted them to return the money as promised.

Absolutely not a 5-star hotel — avoid this place! This hotel does not deserve five stars. At best, I would give it two or three. The building is extremely old, outdated and poorly maintained. The hotel was cold, and the sauna facilities were in terrible condition. I would not recommend using them. The staff and service were shocking. At around 9 a.m., while we were still asleep in bed, two male staff members entered our room without knocking or warning us. We were undressed and completely shocked. This was a serious invasion of our privacy and made us feel very uncomfortable. Afterwards, they remained outside our door for a long time. Communication was also very difficult, as staff seemed unable to understand us properly or provide basic assistance. We asked for coffee and milk at the hotel, but were told they could not provide them and were directed to a nearby shop instead. We had to leave the hotel and walk elsewhere just to get coffee. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. The hotel feels old, cold and far below the standard expected of a five-star property. The lack of privacy, poor communication and unhelpful service made our stay particularly unpleasant. My advice: do not waste your money here. You can find better accommodation elsewhere, and even a basic hostel may offer a more welcoming experience. I would never stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.
