Beautiful dining room and garden. Make sure you get a room in the main building

What the guest liked

I loved the location of this hotel and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was outside the main building, and although it was very spacious with a small garden it did not seem to have the same style and care as the main hotel.

What could be improved

We were unable to book an evening meal at the hotel as the restaurant was full. I would have expected availability for residents. I would have preferred to stay in the main hotel building.

My second stay at Molskroen but I am not coming back

Nice room and great location.

What could be improved

We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday and wanted to have something to eat, but the restaurant was fully booked and they did not offer room service. They appeared to be understaffed. We had to go to Ebelhoft (a 10-minute drive) for dinner. The next morning I had to wait 6-7 minutes to get a breakfast table, the waitress then came up to me and said nothing. I said: ”I am in room 5”. She looked through the list and could not find me and rudely asked: ”Do you have a name?”. Both room 5 and my name were on the list and I pointed it out to her. Then she seated me and ignored me for another 5 minutes. I then told another staff that I just wanted something quick and she explained they had ignored me because they were waiting for my son to join me (he was asleep in the room). Really poor service.
