best view in the city, but isolated from the city center

What the guest liked

this is probably the best hotel in Kourou. Its location at the point des roches has superb views and is next to the emblematic Dreyfus Tower, however some explanation on the sad experience of Alfred Dreyfus' imprisonment in the Ile du Diable after an antisemitic trial and his later release following the uproar it created in France would have been welcome for those still ignorant about this fact. the reception was kind enough to allow me early check-in at no extra cost when I arrived at about 10:30 AM.

What could be improved

there are no stores for groceries, in fact no stores at all at walking distance which forces to pay for taxis for every time you want to visit the city, get to boarding area for the boats to the Isles du Salut, which is one of Kourou's main attraction or not to eat at the hotel's own facilities.

L’emplacement en bord de mer, en face des îles du Salut est magnifique. Le matin la mer était calme, donc possible de s’y baigner. Très bons petits déjeuners.
