What the guest liked

The staff was very hospitable. The location was key and most of the accommodations were on point.

What could be improved

Was given assurance that the price would be one thing just to get a call hearing something else which was very unprofessional. Now let me give the back story..... so we booked booked a one-bedroom apartment expecting more of a studio-apartment setup and overlooked the fact that the kitchen was shared. I was prepared to spend the one night and then find alternative accommodation that was better suited to our needs. However, staff came and said that the owner is will to give us the upstairs (two-bedroom) for the same price. Then subsequently the owner called offering us the said upper flat, explaining that we would not have to share it because there were only two bookings. Before accepting, both my partner and I asked you and your staff several times whether the upper flat would be provided at the same price, and we were assured that it would. It was therefore very disappointing to receive a call the following day from the owner telling us that she has someone that wants a one-bedroom apartment and she is sending her staff to prepare the said room, thus informing us that they wanted to put us back in the same situation we had specifically been trying to avoid, while also demanding additional payment for the upper flat. Had we been told from the outset that there would be an additional charge, we could have made an informed decision rather than relying on what we were repeatedly told. Additionally, the description advertises a spa and jacuzzi, yet it is a large bathtub on the premises that is not even functioning. This was another disappointment, particularly given the expectations created by the description. I have no issue with paying for what was agreed upon, but changing the arrangement after the fact and requesting additional money, after repeatedly confirming the original price, was not handled professionally. The complex itself is lovely, but unfortunately, the way this matter was dealt with left a very disappointing impression.

Couldn't wait to leave. LUXURY MY ASS!

TV and AC worked and I had a view of the street. The window could be opened.

What could be improved

Room seemed to need paint and finishing touches. There were gaps between tiles and wall in the bathroom. Ceiling seemed in need of touch up paint as there were parts where the paint appeared to have rubbed off. The place itself was hard to find due to the road being in 2 sections divided by a market and the building itself has NO name on the front. No reception area and had to phone the overseas number to alert them I was outside the premises. Although there appeared to be a camera there, no one came to the door despite numerous calls out. Could not pay with my bank card and I was made to feel it was my fault since I was assured a "link" would be sent to pay. The "link" did not work and even the "helper" who was sometimes on the premises couldn't get it to work. The area felt seedy.
